Yes, it's true - Christopher & I are moving to Savannah, GA. Mike is finishing his senior year here while Chris starts his freshman year there. We're having a "See Ya Later" party at my house on the 25th of July - 3:00 to 9:00 p.m (or whatever). BYOB, and a side along with a box of tissues for me, ha ha. Everyone is welcome! Still photographing class of 2010 seniors up to July 22, I have a few openings left.

Is your child America’s Cutest Kid?

Photoworks Studio is participating in the National Charity Model Search to select “America’s Cutest Kid” and to raise funds for charity. We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.

Models Search Special: $195.00 entrance fee, which includes a 1 (one) hour model session, one image submitted to the national gallery, 25 photo comp cards AND an 8 image folio! (this is not a modeling portfolio - it is 8 - 4X5 prints in a faux leather folio.

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep. NILMDTS.org Grand prize national winner will be determined from the 50 city finalists. Winners selected by photography and modeling industry experts. If your child is selected the national winner, you’ll receive many prizes, including a $5,000 US Savings Bond and a Canon PowerShot G10 digital camera.

WANTED:
So now that I'm, back from break and getting caught up, I'm also thinking of the things I want to do here at the studio to update things here for the Class of 2009 Senior Season! I'm looking for cinder blocks and left over cultured stone. So any finished projects out there that has extra stuff leftover I can come pick it up (for free!), or trade for sessions and or prints, or pay (a little) for it! I can also use wood lattice, barn wood, fencing, slate or stone and mulch! If you have anything like this or know of someone who does call me at 810-225-1162 or on my cell at 810-599-6707 THANKS! So - what's the point of BEING a model for my studio? Plenty - a FREE mini session now (March/April) with 2 outfits mostly head shots to get you your business cards for you to pass out to friends.

When you get friends to hire me to create their senior portraits YOU earn more free stuff! 5 Clients get you an incredibly fun senior portrait session in July that includes 4 to 6 outfits with a stylists to do your hair and make-up! More seniors after that and you can earn free wallets, prints, invitations and more, because each additional client you bring me earns you one portrait credit which could be equal to $50.00! (Sorry no cash value just stuff! :-)

What's in it for your friends who do hire me? An additional outfit is added to the session they choose and they get 8 more wallets added to their order of a pose they picked! Plus- I don't double book - there's no waiting for the dressing room! Keep in mind too that when you (your friends, family etc.) hire me they are getting the owner of the company, not some assistant or trainee to take their pictures. I am a Certified Professional Photographer by the PPA (Professional Photographers of America) and I take the time to create wonderful portraits. We'll have a lot of fun and I have a great variety and choices for backdrops and sets here at the studio!

One of the most charming things about Tybee Island and the most important thing to preserve are the lovely cottages. Recently so many have fallen to disrepair or neglect. Or have fallen to the wrecking ball in the name of progress - yeah right. These gems are so very precious. This one is called Yellow Cottage - go figure! :-)
